This morning – we emailed the letter/petition with the list of 759 signatures to the Club. We also posted a hard copy to CEO Paul Barber.
This doesn’t mean the campaign has finished. Far from it. The continued silence and lack of transparency from the Club about the matter, simply means that we will continue collecting signatures.
We are also very keen to do another action – although are undecided about when, because obviously the next match is Palace, so comes with its own particular set of difficulties, and we don’t want to cause ill will with the police. But we’d be keen on hearing people’s views on the matter. We’ve pencilled in another meeting next Thursday afternoon – but haven’t fixed a venue yet, but probably a pub in the Laines. We also want to get more people involved, so hope to arrange an Open Meeting, probably early in the New Year.
