Wednesday 4 March from 7.30pm
📍Assemble outside Brighton train station
Arsenal fans – please feel free to join our demonstration outside Brighton Station before the game.
You might have seen news recently that former BHAFC player, Tomer Hemed has become the current assistant coach to the Under 18s Men’s team. Instead of punishing Mr Hemed for his racist and genocidal social media comments in October 2024, BHAFC are now promoting him. If you haven’t already – please sign our petition demanding that the club sanction the former player, and not reward him > Sign our petition
In stark contrast, the treatment that Mark Bonnick, Arsenal’s former kit man received from his own club, couldn’t be more different. After 22 years of faithful service, Mark was sacked for expressing solidarity towards Palestinians and for confronting Zionists on social media about the genocidal actions of the Israeli state. The FA deemed Mark’s comments didn’t breach any rules and yet the club sacked him on Christmas Eve, 2024. He is not accepting this and will take them to court later this year.

It seems that he has a very good chance of winning the court case against Arsenal FC but needs help to cover the considerable legal fees. If you are able to support Mark, please follow this link: > donorbox.org/arsenalmark or scan the QR code.
And don’t forget to show your support for Roger Wade, a longtime Brighton supporter who was banned by the club for a whopping FIVE years. His crime? Wearing a Palestine shirt to the first home game of the season. Unfortunately, the appeal on his ban was denied by BHAFC and also the Football Ombudsman have rejected his legal challenge. He still has some other options but naturally wants to avoid a lengthy and costly process. > Follow him on Instagram
Here’s a bit of good news. In January we asked SAA supporters to sign an AVAAZ petition asking FIFA and UEFA to save a football pitch for Palestinian kids in the Aida Refugee Camp near Bethlehem. Thanks to over 350,000 signatures (no doubt, including some SAA supporters), the football authorities were forced to act, and the Israelis cancelled the demolition.
Finally, a plea from our good friend Amjad Refaie (Askar Refugee Camp in Nablus, West Bank):
📢✨ Urgent Donation Appeal — Ramadan Solidarity ✨📢
To support 1,000 families in need in the camps of the city of Nablus and the Old City during the holy month of Ramadan 🌙
Due to the severe deterioration in economic conditions and the loss of income sources, many families are no longer able to secure their basic food needs. As Ramadan — the month of mercy and solidarity — approaches, the pressure increases on the most vulnerable households:
👈 orphan families
👈 elderly people
👈 women-led households
👈 dignified families quietly in need
🎯 Campaign Goal: Support 1,000 families through:
🥗 food parcels
🛒 or shopping vouchers worth €50 per family
💛 Every donation, large or small, makes a real difference:
feeding a family — easing hardship — preserving dignity.
